Leveraging the power of the Internet in real estate advertising

February 20, 2007 · Filed Under Real Estate News

One of the more powerful avenues available to real estate agents to advertise themselves but more importantly their seller’s homes is the Internet.  Why many agents don’t use this medium to its full potential is crazy.

I advertise all of my Roanoke homes for sale (and all other areas too!) on–

  • Google
  • Yahoo! Classifieds
  • oodle
  • Trulia
  • LiveDeal
  • edgeio
  • propsmart
  • craigslist
  • US Condo Exchange
  • Real Estate Advisor
  • Point2Homes
  • The Housing Pages
  • Videohomes.com
  • And of course this great website which receives 70+ unique visitors per day searching for Roanoke Virginia real estate listings

Good post. I’m glad to see an agent taking technology and putting it to good use. I know there are some agents who have not gotten to that point yet, but if they want to succeed, they will have to. I heard recently that more and more agents are taking listing advertisements to blogsites rather than newspapers, focusing towards a computer literate crowd. It’s a good thing, and it is the way of the future!
