Unbelievable to find fellow Spring Peeper admirers in the area. Marty and Jeff: I heard the signs of spring tonight from my porch in Roanoke. It warms my soul when the peepers start their calls, I know that warmer weather is upon us and it's time to put away the sweaters and turtle-necks! I second Jeff's request for some photos, If you start a place to post them this shutterbug will contribute!!!

[...] My wife and I visited the Greenbrier Nursery in Cave Spring off of Starkey Road the other day looking for some herbs and vegetables for the garden. They have tremendous greenhouses and would you believe, two of their inground ponds have little tadpoles. I’m curious as to what kind of frog or toad they will become. My guess is they’re little spring peepers but I could be wrong!
